As you pass  gorgeous scenery during the day you will be able to enjoy many other features on-board including all meals, on demand movies, music and audio books. At night enjoy the latest in long distance rail travel in your RailBed, a spacious and comfortable seat by day that converts to a lie-flat bed at night with a thick mattress topper and comfortable linen.

The 24 hour trek is a photographer's dream of vast horizons, while the towns are quintessentially Australian and this is just the beginning  of our one-off fully escorted 13 day Queensland Outback Rail Tour departing in May 2019.

In addition to the Spirit of Queensland you will enjoy a fascinating rail journey aboard the Savannahlander as it tracks the Ootann Road into Brahman cattle country.  Enjoy the geology that dominates and fascinates and it changes from limestone to granite to basal and with every geological change, a change in vegetation.

The historic Gulflander RM93 train offers a rail journey unlike any other. Originally built connect the once bustling river port of Normanton with the rich gold fields of Croydon, today the Gulflander is a tourism icon.
